JPI and NORFACE, networks that published joint research calls (ERA-Nets) before the Horizon Europe program began, are now transitioning to long-term partnerships under the new programme. The European Commission shifted from co-financing individual tenders (ERA-Nets), opting instead to support longer-term collaborations within Horizon Europe. This shift resulted in the creation of the DUT (Driving Urban Transitions) within JPI and CHANSE (Collaboration of Humanities and Social Sciences in Europe) within NORFACE. As a consequence, ongoing projects (ERA-Nets) will continue under the previous system within JPI and NORFACE, but no new calls will be issued.
