Marie Sklodowska-Curie – Seal of Excellence

Marie Skłodowska-Curie - Seal of Excellence The European Union's "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships" (PF) program is intended for excellent researchers with PhDs from all research fields who want to carry out their research activities abroad, acquire new knowledge and skills and develop their career. The aim of the instrument is to support the career path of researchers and promote research excellence. Researchers carry out the research project either in Europe (so-called European Postdoctoral Fellowships) or outside Europe (so-called Global Postdoctoral Fellowships), and the so-called mobility rule. In the evaluation process of the European Commission, the research project proposal is assessed according to the criteria of scientific excellence, impact on society and efficiency of implementation.

The European Commission awards all "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships" research project proposals that receive a score of 85% or higher % with Seal of Excellence. The purpose of the Seal of Excellence is to encourage countries to (co)finance from national funds without additional national evaluation procedures, as the Seal of Excellence is a certificate of internationally recognized excellence of research projects.

ARIS recognizes the evaluation process carried out on the basis of the international call of the European Commission and awarded the Seal of Excellence, and does not carry out the evaluation process itself. ARIS (co)finances research projects that have not been accepted for (co)financing by the European Commission, but at the same time have not been accepted for (co)financing by any other organization that finances research activity.
